Dow Gardens is your gateway to experiencing all of nature’s best kept secrets and hidden treasures. This 110-acre expanse of stunning garden landscape brings to life the beauty of each season, showcasing the region’s most spectacular display of trees, flowers, and other natural wonders.

Over the past century, Dow Gardens has expanded from an original 8-acre plot developed by Herbert H. Dow in 1899 to a 110-acre spread of astounding natural beauty. However, one thing has remained the same-- Herbert Dow’s original philosophy to “never reveal the gardens’ whole beauty at first glance.”

Discover for yourself Dow Gardens’ seasonal splendor, from the freshest spring bulbs to the most brilliant fall colors. Summer brings over 20,000 vibrant tulips into bloom, while winter transforms the gardens into a sparkling white wonderland with a lush display of plants and poinsettias in the conservatory.

With an interactive Children’s Garden for blossoming nature lovers and unique new events like the Festival of the Senses beer & wine tasting in the gardens, there is truly something for all ages to admire at Dow Gardens. Learn More...
